Travel Insurance

You can take out travel insurance for the period of the holiday, and this can include cancellation insurance.
For a recent trip we found that some travel insurances were limited to people under 75 years old. One suggestion was that OK to Travel could provide coverage.
For us an alternative was a travel insurance offered through our own insurance agent, the same that provides house and car insurance. This insurance can be limited to the vacation period, or be provided on an annual basis. We also have Europ Assistance as well as coverage by our local automobile club and our local air rescue service.
Recently (mid-2019) we took the opportunity to revise our travel insurance cover, and we added an annual travel insurance to our home and car insurance package.
